Will you marry me?
Absolutely! If you meet the legal requirements for marriage in Australia, I would be honoured to perform your wedding ceremony. I am committed to inclusivity and celebrate love in all its forms, welcoming couples from all backgrounds, sexual orientations, and gender identities.
What are the legal requirements to marry?
To legally marry in Australia, you must lodge a Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM) with your celebrant at least one month before your wedding. You will also need to provide proof of identity and, if applicable, proof of divorce or death of a previous spouse. I can guide you through the entire process and ensure all legal requirements are met.
Where do you perform ceremonies?
I am a Commonwealth Registered Civil Celebrant and can conduct ceremonies at any venue in Australia! From elegant hotel ballrooms and rustic barns to beautiful gardens and private residences, I'm happy to officiate your wedding wherever you choose. I generally work in Melbourne, but I am happy to travel if you'd like a destination wedding. Let me know your desired venue, and if applicable, I'll include travel costs in your quote.
How far in advance should we book our celebrant?
It's advisable to book your celebrant as soon as you've set your wedding date, especially if you're planning a wedding during peak season. Ideally, booking 6-12 months in advance ensures my availability and allows ample time for us to collaborate on creating your perfect ceremony. However, I understand that sometimes weddings come together more quickly, so don't hesitate to reach out even if your date is sooner. I'll do my best to accommodate your needs.
Do you specialise in Jewish wedding ceremonies?
Yes, I specialize in crafting modern, inclusive Jewish wedding ceremonies in Melbourne. I offer a range of packages, from simple legal ceremonies to fully bespoke celebrations, and I'm experienced in incorporating both traditional and contemporary elements.
Can you perform interfaith wedding ceremonies?
